Dance of life

Indian dancer

I remember watching this cultural performance during my stay in Udaipur, India. About 10 different dancers twirled their colourful dresses and clapped their cymbals to the rhythm of drums and tambourines. They were all very talented and visibly enjoying themselves.

And then, there was this moment (photo above)… So incredibly special it felt as if time was suspended. She was glowing from within, authentically at peace with herself, with her moves. The dancer and the dance were one, following each other’s rhythm.

Moments like these, when you know you are exactly where you’re meant to be, doing the precise thing you should be doing, are precious. The universe and yourself in unison.

Have you found your place in the world? Your dance of life? What does it feel like?
